Paul Walker’s Daughter Carries on With His Philanthropy Endeavours

The world still hasn’t recovered from the shock caused by the untimely unfortunate death of “Fast and Furious” star Paul Walker. The late actor would have been 42 today. Other than the blockbuster franchise, the actor was also well-known as a philanthropist. As the world is celebrating Paul’s 42nd birth anniversary, his daughter honoured him by carrying forward his philanthropic endeavours. Meadow Walker will pick-up from where her father left and leading personnel from the film fraternity has nothing but praises for this step taken by her. With this step forward, she hopes to achieve the dream her father saw, to make the world a better place.

Paul Walker came into limelight as he bagged one of the most crucial roles in the acclaimed franchise and along with his Hollywood commitments; he dedicated his life to save the oceans, rescuing animals and for the environmental preservation. A very few people knew that he had started very secretly an organisation with the purpose of providing reliefs for those affected due to natural calamities. This organization will keep doing its work even after the death of the founder.

His daughter said recently that she got her love for the Mother Nature from her father and it soothes her soul to be involved in such operations. She mentioned how her father was extremely passionate about his dream. The dream of saving the endangered species, to save the oceans, the passion to help people and his ultimate passion for spontaneous goodwill, all these things are what keeps her motivated to follow his footsteps, she said. She further added that she wanted to start the Paul Walker Foundation in order to share that ‘passionate’ side of him to the world. A tear rolled from her left eye when she said that she found no better way to honour her father and she will continue his legacy of helping others.

At present, the Paul Walker foundation is working in collaboration with Monterey Bay Aquarium, to find teenagers who are passionate about preserving the nature, particularly the oceans, and to provide them with scholarships in order to motivate them further. The foundation is also working hand in hand with the Ocean Futures Society founded by Michael Cousteau who is among the most famous ocean leaders and the son of the extremely popular ocean explorer, Jacques Cousteau.

Paul Walker may be dead, but he is there in the hearts of the fans and the people who benefitted from his endeavours. Go Paul!
