NBC And CW’s Long List Of TV Shows This Fall

NBC And CW’s TV Shows

Television had almost lost its charm sometime back in the last decade as people were turning more and more towards the bigger screen. But then around the mid decade came an array of TV shows, mostly comedies, such as ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ along with some dramas such as ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Prison Break’ and since then Television has entered its golden age with shows like ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Sherlock’, ‘True Detective’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ grabbing billions of pairs of eyeballs across the world.

It continues, with the leading Hollywood stars and writers/directors admitting the growing power of the Television as a medium of entertainment. CW is one of the leading networks constantly churning some of the coolest shows on television and it continues as in the coming days, we will be seeing revival of our favourite shows and the arrival of some new ones.

The new ones ready to leave their mark on the tele-watchers are ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’, ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ and ‘Containment’. Now, the list seems quite nice as they have got some variety as the ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ is supposed to be a light-hearted series while other two are intense dramas out of them ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ will be from superhero genre.

Let’s talk about the already established shows which will see premiers for their new seasons this time around. ‘Arrow’, ‘iZombie’, ‘Flash’, ‘Supernatural’, ‘The Originals’ and ‘Vampire Diaries’ are ready with their new action packed seasons to impress the audiences. We must say CW has quite a lot in its bucket this fall.

Apart from CW network , there is NBC getting ready to prove its worth once again with a long list of new shows such as ‘Truth Be Told’, ‘You, Me and the Apocalypse’, ‘Hot and Bothered’, ‘Little Big Shots’, ‘Shades of Blue’, ‘Heartbreaker’, ‘Game of Silence’ and ‘Crowded’ among a few others. With most of them comedies, this isn’t easy to guess which section of the audiences’ think-tank of NBC is targeting. Yes, you guessed it right, the young adult ones!

Apart from these two, all other bug networks are churning out some kickass shows and seeing the very long list of the shows, we can certainly say that viewers are going to have a good number of options to choose from.

However, one show people are eagerly awaiting is the period epic ‘Game of Thrones’ which has been going through with the post production phase and the new season will be premiered around April/May next year. Apart from ‘GOT’, there is ‘Sherlock’ which has been very eagerly awaited and considering the fact that the old folks at BBC makes only 3 episodes per season, the exclusivity becomes an advantage and thus all this sky rocketing anticipation. Well, never mind, until these two biggies air, why don’t we try to find our new favourite, right?
